Echo Artist Talks: Jennifer Willet [Hamilton Arts Council]

On Thursday March 23rd, the Hamilton Arts Council’s Visual Arts Committee welcomes Windsor-based artist Jennifer Willet to Mills Hardware in downtown Hamilton as part of our winter season of Echo Artist Talks speakers. Jennifer is exhibiting Laboratory Ecologies at Hamilton Artists Inc. March 25-May 27, 2017.

Dr. Jennifer Willet, Associate Professor in the School of Creative Arts, University of Windsor (Canada) is an internationally successful artist in the emerging field of bioart. In 2009 she opened a bioart research and teaching lab “INCUBATOR: Hybrid Laboratory at the Intersection of Art, Science, and Ecology” at the UofW.

Hosted monthly at Mills Hardware in downtown Hamilton, each talk includes a Q&A session and opportunity for informal networking before and after the talk with a cash bar available on site. Doors open at 7:00 in advance of the start of the artist's talk at 7:30.
