The Glory of the Garden exhibition

Join artist Alison Sawatzky at Dundas Museum and Archives for a solo show of botanical and landscape paintings and prints inspired by gardens. There will be an Opening Reception featuring the artist on Saturday, March 4th from 1:30 to 3:30.

Alison Sawatzky is a graduate of the Dundas Valley School of Art, Foundations Programme and has also taken courses through Sir Sanford Fleming College. A member of the Hamilton Women’s Art Association of Hamilton, Hamilton Artists Inc., the Dundas Studio Tour, and the Hamilton Arts Council, she has been exhibiting her work professionally since 1996 in both group and solo shows. Working in a variety of media, Alison creates both representational and abstract pieces. Her paintings, mixed media works, drawings and prints are in private collections throughout Canada, as well as the U.S., Britain and New Zealand. http://alisonsawatzky.com/
