James Street Supercrawl 2013
Hamilton's biggest and brightest arts and culture festival returns for its 5th year in 2013 and continues to grow into Hamilton’s premier annual event. Last year, attendance for this 2 day event topped 80,000 and this year they're expecting even more. Supercrawl was founded to promote Hamilton, specifically the artistic and cultural sector in the James Street North area, as a destination for those living within Hamilton as well as to those outside of the city’s borders.
Featuring dozens of music and performance artists as well as a host of visual art installations, Supercrawl takes place September 13th to 14th and stretches from James St North at King all the way to LiUNA Station. And it's absolutely FREE!
Some of the featured Musical Guests include: Abigail Richardson, Amy Helm, City and the Sea, Cowlick, Dinner Belles, Eight and a Half, F*ck'd Up, Fry Truck, the Hamilton Children's Choir and the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, the Highnote Ramblers, LeE HARVeY OsMOND, Les Trois Accords, Michael Timmins, Passion Pit, PS I Love You, Said the Whale, Speedy Ortiz, Steve Strongman, Terra Lightfoot, TV Freaks, Weekend Riot Club, X Ambassadors, Young Galaxy and many, many more.
Some of the featured Performance Guests include: Black Bird Studios Fashion, Burlington Slam Project, Circus Orange, Defining Movement Dance, Hammer City Roller Girls, and Zacada Circus School.
Some of the featured Visual Artists include: Alexa Hatanaka and Patrick Thompson, BGL, Connor Bennett and Kearon Taylor, Elinor Whidden, Erika James, Roy Caussy, Sarah Beck and Shlomi Greenspan and many others.
