Wood touches our everyday lives, including through the art we encounter. The use of wood in art is functional and versatile, as well as beautiful. The wood-firing of clay, the turning of a wooden bowl, the printing of an inked woodcut each reveal the creative possibilities of this natural material in their own unique way.
The exhibition features the work of: Duncan Aird, Wayne Allen, Ralph Heather, Nicholas Holmes, Donna Ibing, Louise McCann, Dan Shannon, Paul Simon, and Lori Skinner.
