A new series of professional development workshops for artists and arts workers

LivingArts Workshops provide a new series of learning opportunities targeted to individual artists and administrators of emerging and small-scale arts organizations in the Hamilton region. These six workshops address knowledge gaps identified through LivingArts Hamilton consultations as those that most commonly impede artists' career growth - from financial management and business planning, to self-promotion and social media. Collectively, these low-cost sessions aim to equip arts workers with the knowledge to manage the many competing priorities of sustaining and promoting their work, develop stronger support networks, and improve the capacity of Hamilton’s grassroots arts community to sustain its creative momentum.

Monday March 27 - Becoming a Not-For-Profit and Charitable Organization with Craig Logue

All workshops take place at the Hamilton Public Library’s Central branch in the Wentworth Room starting at 7:00pm.

Workshop Registration Fees

Registration fees for LivingArts Workshops are $10.00 per session for Hamilton Arts Council members, and $20.00 per session for non-members. Individual membership with the Hamilton Arts Council costs $25.00 annually for individuals, or $15.00 for students and seniors; please visit to become a member and take advantage of our discounted workshop rates.
