Duty & Glory: A Salute to the 77th Wentworth Regiment

Sept 23, 2017 - Feb 17, 2018

This exhibition explores the rich history of the Regiment through the lives of the men who trained and fought with the militia. Explore a replica military Bell tent, showing an authentic look at the grueling military training as Canadian soldiers prepared for the First World War. On display include militia garb spanning half a century, highlighting the brave stories of the men who would have worn them. The exhibition will finally give due prominence to the heroic life of Major Albert Edward Kimmins and his ultimately tragic end. Our terrific collection of black and white photographs from the turn of the 20th century will accompany the artifact.
