Bud Roach

 

 

Director

Tenor Bud Roach has been featured often with Hamilton`s classical music organizations, including the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Academy Orchestra, the Bach Elgar Choir, Chorus Hamilton, and the 5 at the First series. Bud`s solo recordings on the Musica Omnia label have been praised internationally as ground-breaking achievements in the field of historically-informed performance. Solo appearances in 2016-17 include the Toronto Consort, the Toronto Masque Theatre, the Bach Elgar Choir, and the Talisker Players, as well as recital appearances in Boston (Early Music Festival Fringe series), New York (Gotham Early Music), Venice (Venice Music Project), Hamilton (McMaster) and Thunder Bay (Lakehead University). In addition to performing and directing his ensemble Capella Intima, Bud is also the founder and Artistic Director of the popular HAMMER BAROQUE concert series at the Rock on Locke.
